Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: learning the Behaviour Model and using the model to pre-teach, teach and redirect residents, demonstrate positive role modeling for residents, instruct residents on a variety of skills necessary for independent living, (ie. parenting, time management, cooking, cleaning, shopping, making appointments, enrolling children in childcare and budgeting money), monitor residents and children while they are on or off the Seton Home campus, during phone calls, computer usage, free time, chores, visits and classes, complete daily behavior logs, incident reports and other reports and transport residents in a safe and timely manner. Qualifications: High School Diploma, or GED. Strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of computer software and keyboard. Current driver's license and clean driving record. Good problem solving skills and the ability to manage the behavior of adolescents and their children. Ability to multi-task. Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods of time during shifts.
